Office 365 Email Guidelines
This email account is intended for school use only. All activities are monitored by Walton-Verona Schools and the Kentucky Department of Education (KDE).
Before accessing email, each student or staff member must have a signed Acceptable Use Policy on file. The guidelines in the Acceptable Use Policy must be strictly followed when using email.
The Kentucky Department of Education mandates that this is the only email account students and staff are permitted to access using the school's network.
Setting Up Email on Your Personal Device
Starting in 8th grade, students with parental permission receive a school email account. This account provides access to email, calendar, contacts, and tasks.
Student Email Setup
To set up student email on a personal device, use the following details:
Connection Type: Microsoft Exchange, Exchange ActiveSync, or Exchange Email
Username:
firstname.lastname@stu.wv.kyschools.usPassword: Same as your computer login
Server:
outlook.office365.com
Staff Email Setup
To set up staff email on a personal device, use the following details:
Connection Type: Microsoft Exchange, Exchange ActiveSync, or Exchange Email
Username:
