EPA: End of Program Assessment (EPA) (formerly known as Kentucky Occupational Skill Standards Assessment (KOSSA)) is utilized to ensure and measure vocational/technical skill attainment. Also, industry will recognize students who receive certification through this system as qualified for entry-level employment opportunities. When students pass the EPA exam in a particular area, they are awarded a certificate from the state department and they should include it in their career portfolio.
