Welcome to Mrs. Ross's 6th Grade Reading Class!

This year in class, students will grow as readers.  One way we are doing this is with the 36-book requirement for the school year.  Students will read 36 books from 10 different genres by the end of May.  Students will have class time to read, as well as 20 minutes of homework reading to do per night.  During class, we will use short stories, articles, and novels to expand our reading ablilities and view of the world.

I am very excited about this school year, and I am looking forward to seeing every student become a life-long reader!
