Welcome to Mrs. Prabell's 6th Grade Math Class!

Classroom information and policies are explained below. Homework assignments (if they're not assigned from the student workbook) may also be found on my website. Feel free to contact my via email( or leave a message with the school office who will then transfer you to my line. I will be happy to assist in any way possible.

Grading Policy:

Tests/Quizzes/In Class Assessments -- 70%

Homework/Classwork -- 30%

Grades will be posted to Infinite Campus Weekly. *Homework must be complete, on time, have ALL WORK SHOWN in order to receive credit. Homework is graded based on effort and completion.

Classroom Expectations:

Come to class on time and prepared Respect Classmates, Teachers, Staff and Parents Ask for Help When You Need It Take Responsibility For Your Learning Participate in Group Work with and Positive and Polite Attitude Follow Rules and Instructions Complete Assignments and Turn Them In By Deadlines.

Also, we will be using Remind 101 in class as a way to stay in constant communication. Remind 101 provides a safe way for teachers to text message students and stay in touch with parents. Teachers never see the students' or parents' phone number and likewise, the teacher's phone number is never revealed to students or parents. Students and parents can use Remind101 with cell phones or by email. In addition to Remind 101, as a 6th grade team we send home a weekly newsletter detailing what students are learning in each classroom.
