Serving the Community since 1935
The communities of Walton and Verona are proud of their independent schools. Walton-Verona Schools have always maintained high academic standards and have produced well-rounded, productive citizens. Land has been purchased by the Walton-Verona Board of Education in Verona for future use. Currently, we are wrestling with rapid student growth (current enrollment approximately 1450 students) Adding additional classroom/educational space is a priority.
Larry's Kids Foundation
Northern Kentucky Council of Partners
Larry Davis, the S.A.F.E. Agent for Walton-Verona School District, was a genuine, kind hearted, and giving man. He helped students for over 39 years before losing his battle with Cancer in April of 2011. His mission in life was to empower children to perform to the best of their ability. He worked to help them overcome any obstacle. Larry’s dream was to create a foundation that would keep his mission alive. As a result, the “Larry’s Kids Foundation” has been formed to keep the dream alive. “For Kids” was Larry’s motto. Therefore, all funds raised for the Larry’s Kids Foundation will be used to directly help Walton-Verona children.
The Northern Kentucky Council of Partners promotes communication among public and private school systems, post-secondary institutions, the business community, and government agencies about educational issues. The Council serves as a catalyst for collaboration, change, and progress toward regional educational goals.
