¡Hola! Me llamo Alaina Post.
I am originally from Fairfield, OH, where I began learning Spanish in the 8th grade. I attended Wright State University and majored in education and Spanish. After graduating with my Bachelor of Arts in Spanish in 2003, I taught high school for 3 years and then was accepted into the Hispanic Studies program at the University of Kentucky. I now have 2 Master's Degrees from UK--one in Hispanic Studies and one in Teaching World Languages. I most recently taught Middle School Spanish in Boone County for 4 years. I am very excited to share my teaching journey with the Walton-Verona students!
My husband and I have 3 little boys, ages 7, 5 and 1. They are named Ian, Reese, and Lane. We love to play board games and attend a convention every year in Indianapolis. Other hobbies include: karate, photography, art, crafts (I love crocheting baby blankets, so if you need one, let me know!), and running in 5ks or half-marathons!
