Megan Jones, Chairperson
Megan is a 1994 graduate of WV and a graduate of Morehead State University with a degree in Marketing and Management. She served on WVES SBDM for 4 years. She and her husband live in Verona and have 3 children in the district. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends and watching her children play sports.
Paula Jolley, Vice-Chairperson
Paula Jolley is entrenched in the Walton community. As a resident since 1996, Jolley has seen both of her children graduate from WV, Amanda in 1997 and Adam in 2000. She has served on the Walton City Council for nine years and served as Walton's mayor for one year. During her time serving the City of Walton, she worked to strengthen the relationship between the school and the city.
Paula has lived in her current home in the center of Walton since 1997 and has been employed by Dr. Chad Millay as his office manager since 1999. She enjoys spending time with her four grandchildren and rooting on all the Walton-Verona athletic teams and extracurricular activities.
Susan Smith and her family (Husband Pat and daughters Kendal and Maggie) have been part of the Walton Verona community and school district since 1998. Maggie is a current student in the district. Susan has worked as Radiology Manager at Cincinnati Children's Hospital since 2001 and has worked in the field of Pediatric Imaging since 1983. She enjoys spending time with her family and her most important job as Mom.
Heather Stewart is a 2000 graduate of WV and a life long resident of Verona. She served 2 years as VP of WVES PTA. She has a son who is currently in the district. She enjoys spending time with her son and family. She enjoys watching her son play football and basketball.
David Turner, along with his wife and five children, have been Walton residents since January of 2009. Currently they have four children enrolled in the WV school system and their eldest is a 2015 graduate. David served as a parent representative on the SBDM council for both WVES and WVMS prior to being elected to serve on the School Board in 2017.
He is a graduate of NKU with a degree in chemistry, and a life-long resident of Northern Kentucky. David works for Procter and Gamble, conducting research and development on Febreze air fresheners. His passion for education and enrichment continues in his professional life as well; as he is involved in mentoring / recruiting at NKU for P&G, and leads “Take Our Children to Work Day” for Fabric and Home care.
